1.Different water source adopts different RO equipment, usually the waterconductivity will be around ≤10μs/cm after first stage purifying , and after the
second stage it will be around ＜3μS/cm, it can make the ultrapure water if equipped with the EDI, water conductivity will reach around 0.056μS/cm
2 The most import part of the reverse osmosis system is the membrane which can decide the water quality, but the performance of pretreat part also will affect the stability of the RO membrane.
3.Configuration and function of pretreat
3.1Dosing device: Dosing the reductants to neutralizing the chloridion in the raw water which can protect the RO membrane.
3.2Raw water pump: press the raw water into pretreat system
3.3 Sand filter: filtering material is Quartz sand, can remove the suspended solids, colloidal particles, rust, impurities and the microorganisms in water (such as Red worms, etc)
3.4Carbon filter: filtering material is Coconut shell activated carbon, can remove the organic matter in water and chlorine taste, odor, pesticides, and substances in tap water, extend the membrane’s service life.
3.5If the tap water is underground water with iron, calcium, magnesium and other metal ions, better equipped with a soften filter.
3.6 Security filter: with 5umPP filters inside, can remove the impurities over aperture 5um.
3.7 Above are the pretreat system of RO, the main function is to treat the tap water to ensure the normal use of RO equipment and extended service life.
3.8 The pretreated water will go through the high pressure pump to the RO system, the RO membranes are imported, the desalting rate of the whole set is around 97%-98%, the output water conductivity can reach to drinking water standard ≤10us/cm in China.
